Close the damper -> find the lever connected to the 6” round metal duct from the humidifier to the ductwork, turn the lever so it is perpendicular to the duct.
Remove the lid and disk wheel.
Agitate the water in the basin in a circular motion, and drain the sediment and water from the basin.
Replace the disk wheel and lid.
Unplug the auto flush transformer.
